Here's how it works:

Contact Jay by email or phone: or 303.819.8012  Ask him to meet you on an agreed upon date at a conveniently located Starbucks or other coffee house of your choice.

What is the You Deserve Credit Program?  It is a means for you to earn credit for unpaid services you rendered your school district, such as developing curriculum or sitting on school advisory boards or attending professional development conferences.  Services can have taken place any time during the past, in the present, or in the future.  Credit can be earned for the number of hours you spent in delivering your services.  Every 15 hours of time spent is worth 1 graduate credit hour.  You can earn 2, 3, 4, or 6 hours of credit through this program.

What do you need to bring to the get-together?  A one page proposal describing what you did for your school district and the hours spend on different activities and assignments.

Don't have a developed proposal yet?  No problem.  Dr. Jay will help you devise a proposal consistent with whatever services you may have rendered or are rendering or will render in the future.

Can I register and make payment for the course credits I am planning to take when I attend the get-together?  Definitely.  Or, you can register and make your payment online afterwards.

Further questions???? Contact Jay by phone or email listed above.

Professional Online CONTINUING Education FOR TEACHERS

Here's an opportunity for you to receive academic credit for the professional and curriculum development plans you are doing for your school at your school.

Colorado Consulting Services is prepared to offer you academic credit for the valuable time you put in at planning sessions, curriculum get-togethers, team meetings, and the like, at your school.   Just contact Jay Wissot and tell him about the specific details of the work you are doing or have previously done for your school that is worthy of academic credit from one of our partnering universities.  Jay will review your work and assign it to one of our CCS instructors for review and evaluation.

Once the instructor is satisfied that the work is acceptable, you will be given instructions about course registration and payment.  It's that simple.

So, what are you waiting for?  Credit earned can be used for either teacher re-licensure or salary advancement.  Groups of teachers meeting as part of school teams are encouraged to submit their work as a joint project. They will each receive separate academic credit.
